This English Tudor–style custom home just outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba reflects a thoughtful approach to architecture, design-build collaboration, and handcrafted construction. Rooted in traditional Tudor forms, the home is defined by classic gable rooflines, expressive cedar timbers, and carefully detailed exterior elements that reference historic English architecture while responding to the Prairie environment.

The interior showcases custom millwork and built-in cabinetry, designed and fabricated to support both daily living and long-term durability. A hand-crafted plaster fireplace anchors the main living space, serving as a central architectural feature. Hardwood flooring, along with subtle metal and brass detailing, adds depth and texture without overwhelming the overall composition.

Designed by Salt & Ink Design and built as a boutique custom home, this project demonstrates the value of an integrated architecture and design-build process. Every detail—from material selection to spatial flow—reflects a commitment to thoughtful design and executed by skilled craftsmanship.
